Here is another example of the noir style of photography that I love. The way this image was lit was using a lamp light that was located on the wall and taken during the evening right after the ceremony. It was a rainy day so we stayed in a covered area most of the time to get the shots we wanted. I really love the mood and feel of this image as it takes me back to a certain place in time. The bride and groom seem like a couple out of a James Bond movie and I'm totally cool with that!
Also, there are some interesting historical facts that highlight the City of Azle. The first plank home was built of lumber hauled 280 miles from Houston, Texas in an ox-drawn wagon. Also, the Ash creek baptist church, which was organized in 1872, was the first church to be organized in Azle. It was said that one of the early ministers of the church preached with a six-shooter on each side of his bible while the men in the congregation rested their rifles across their knees in case of a surprise attacks from the Comanche Indians. How times have changed!
