I still remember that day this image was taken. I remember heading to the venue on the day of her bridal and it was raining. I had all these different shots planned out that I was going to take outside, and needless to say I wasn't going to have the chance to do so. But, something amazing happened. About a half hour before the sunset, the rain suddenly quit and clouds gave way! We were inside shooting and when we saw that we had the opportunity, we didn't miss a beat. Personally, I am all about shooting with prime lenses and using light that is available, I strongly believe you get more of a crisper image, but to each their own right? This is one of the images that was captured right after the rain went away.
The Tribute is located in the Colony just off the eastern shores in Lake Lewisville. They offer a unique Scottish links-style golf experience that pays homage to the legendary courses, complete with wind swept dunes and sea-washed grasses. Photographing at The Tribute was such fun and I really love their venue, I hope to be back soon to photograph another wedding from their venue.
